Jagmeet Singh is a Canadian politician who made history as the first non-white leader of a major federal party in Canada, serving as the leader of the New Democratic Party from 2017 to 2025. He was a member of Parliament for Burnaby South and previously represented Bramalea—Gore—Malton in the Ontario Legislative Assembly.
